Water harvesting

“If we can get a way to harvest the rain our children cannot find a problem”

The rains become shorter or it rains heavily and then disappears. People have to buy expensive fertilisers to make the crops grow. Instead, I have made compost from cow dung, leaves and dirt from the house. It doesn’t need as much rain as the fertilisers; even if it stays for more than a month, it will not be spoiled. But the lack of rain is still a problem. Everything I depend on is farming, and when the harvest fails I don’t have money for school fees. If I could get a method for water harvesting, my crops would do better and I would have money to pay for my children’s education.
