Climate Stories

Kenya Fieldwork
During October and November 11 Climate Debt Agents went to Kenya to look into the consequences the Kenyans are suffering from due to climate change – and how they are trying to adapt to these changes. In Kenya the agents went to two different places: One group went to Kajiado Region, just south of Nairobi, where the Masai people live as pastoralists. The other group went to Bungoma district in Western Kenya, which usually is a lush area, but now the farmers watch their harvest fail because of dramatic changes in the rain patterns.
The following short climate stories are the voices of the farmers from Bungoma district, whom we met. They got to tell us their stories and how they adapt to the climate changes.
